Self-Determination is a combination of attitudes and abilities that lead people to set goals for themselves and to take the initiative to reach these goals.
Self-Growth is about obtaining knowledge, improving skills and stepping out of one’s comfort zone.
Self-Advocates are empowered to know their rights and responsibilities while understanding they can reach out to others when needed. This person shows us everyday what it means to live life fully, to break down walls and barriers that others place before them.

Building Bridges
The Building Bridges award is to recognize a Case Manager/Personal Agent who goes over and beyond in their daily duties to build a partnership between supported individuals and their community. This person ensures that supported individuals have the platform to share their voice and supports them in finding ways to reach their full potential.
